We ask Occupy Wall Street: What can government do?

In the month-plus since Occupy Wall Street first coalesced at Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan, the world has learned plenty about what demonstrators want to see change in the world of finance. But what about government? Do participants in Occupy Wall Street see the public sector as part of any solutions they seek? We asked nearly 30 Occupy Wall Street demonstrators to name one thing that government at any level – federal, state or local – could do to help achieve their aims. Here’s what some of them said.
